DNDC-EUROPE metamodels for CCAT [+] Project: CCAT (id:5) Description: To approximate the complex and computationally expensive DNDC-EUROPE code, we developed several metamodels: linear (2), splines (2) and kriging (1), machine learning (3). Finally the random forest based approach was selected to be implemented in the CCAT simulation platform to calculate N2O flux, N leaching and N surplus from EU27 farmlands.
